You are, but apparently you don’t realize it. I think you failed to read her comment carefully, noting the punctuation. When she said "for Christ's sake", she wasn't using that as an expletive. She was literally saying the author was choosing to be abstinent and chaste for His (Christ's) sake - because of the author's love for Him, which is greater than her carnal desire.
