Concerning "Godwin's Law"...it is an interesting observation (even though not a Law). I believe the prevalence of NAZI hyperbole is because the looney left has conditioned our younger generations (and low information voters) into believing that communism is a left wing movement and National Socialism (NAZIism) is a right wing movement. Of course this is not true. Both are totalitarian big government leftist movements.

When you go to college campuses anywhere, it seems the looney left is winning this battlefield of the mind. They have succeeded in creating a "straw man" of conservatives that they knock down any time conservatives dare question the West's retreat from biblical morals and rule of law.

Liberal theologians capitalize on this and accuse the right of "reductio-ad-hitlerum" to silence any criticism of their un-biblical support of Supersessionism. If God's Word states that He would bring the children of Israel back to their land in the last days...and that Israel would miraculously be "saved" out of their unbelief (Jeremiah 30), what are followers of Christ supposed to think of Supersessionism's proponents? Scary!
