Sorry...the pope establishes catholic doctrine...he is supposed to be the vicar of Christ. in other words, he stands in stead of Christ.

And now he is letting Islam into the Vatican....the home of the "chair of Peter"?

I agree. The Church has survived foolish and evil popes. It will continue to do so regardless because the Church is the Bride of Christ. He will overcome all our failings.

I must say, though, this has a prophetic sense to it. Their view of their God and who we know God is is completely different. Having an Islamic cult leader praying at the Vatican on world wide television is giving it legitimacy that it does not deserve. What is he thinking!!! They are murdering Christians all over the world and now he is going to put them on the same level as Christians. I’m disgusted.
