To: boatbums

I have three different translations of the Quran and I have read one through and look at the others occasionally when I am on a Quran jag, or stumble across them.

I even have a prayer rug that someone brought me from Saudi Arabia.

Some of us are the types that need to read and learn what the other fellow is reading and learning, it is how we learn the truth about Islam for instance, rather than accepting what everyone has been telling us since 9/11 (religion of peace etc.)

The Quran shows us what a backwards and monstrous, and brutal and brutish little cult it is, it reads like a guy who went from merchant to a warrior chieftain wrote a simple little religion cult book (just like happened), it is nothing like the Bible.

Yeah, for those who use such publications for evangelism, I can see why they would have copies. Just keeping one around the house like a souvenir, not so much. But, to each his own!
