Perhaps the concept of good and evil are just human traits, and God, being the almighty creator of all, has no need for it?

Well... it's true that we and God see things differently; but it'd be a fallacy ("univocation") to say that there's NO connection between them! Otherwise, we couldn't talk sbout God (or anything, for that matter) at all! If "love" in God's eyes is so radically different from our definition of "love" that it includes "causing pain for the sheer fun of it, followed by a complete and utter aversion", then of what use would the word "love" be? Why use the same word when the meaning is utterly different? One might as well use the word "potato" to describe the Pacific ocean! Beyond this: unless you're throwing the Bible away completely, the Bible explicitly states that God is "good", in more places than I can count easily. As such, it'd be wrong (and a bit bizarre) to say that God has no need for the trait of being "good"! One might as well say that water has no need of the trait of being wet!

Why couldn’t we talk about Him or love for that matter? I don’t believe the bible has to be referenced when we speak of God.
