Peter was given that knowledge as all believers are, but it goes no further for anyone whose words were not being witnessed by one writing scripture.
So the only inspiring thing in all of salvation history that is worth anything is Scripture itself. I see. And people wonder why protestants may be viewed as worshipping a book.
