With this form of preaching/teaching today it does appeal to the masses because they are already primed to respond to “sensationalism” via every form of communication and visual stimulation that is out there.....whatever appeals to the emotions and moves them, good bad or somewhere in between.
The idea is “feeling” based....”Signs and wonders” and anything to “touch” the spiritually dead and entice them to “another way” of spirituality rather than through Christ Alone.
Unfortunately many churches are feeding this stuff to Christians who are unfamiliar with Gods word and “eat at the table” of whatever Pastor is preaching that tickles their ears..... They rarely “dine” one on one with Jesus exclusively and intimately....or even dare to consider He'd welcome that.
She is a paid fraudster like a hundred others out there like her....and the many who preceded her. She's the “flavor” of the moment is all.
I agree they are scum...and any who put even a bit of thought into what they are professing have fallen for the oldest lie of all times....and it never changes.
Both Caputo and TLC have been criticized for profiting from what some consider a "charlatan" whose claims are "not true."
It's Showbiz and that's all it is...and she's laughing all the way to the bank......In 2012, the James Randi Educational Foundation awarded Caputo a Pigasus Award for being the "psychic" performer who fooled the greatest number of people with the least effort in the preceding year.

I do think ‘this’ generation is in a whole heap of trouble....deception is ruling many and easily accepted where only a few years ago it would not have been so easily taken in. Most are so easily swayed because they have no foundation of faith except in that which is ‘in’ the world.
It’s written ....False Christs and false Prophets will arise and perform ‘great’ signs and wonders, so as to lead astray,.... if possible, even the elect.
We see much of that today. And we know the Anti-Christ will do likewise. So what we see today in this generation is the “softening-up of the masses” for the ultimate deception.
Well, yeah.
After all, there is that miraculous healing of the sword wound of the anti-Christ.
With a generation primed to accept any healing of any kind as being from God, they will of course believe that the healing of the anti-Christ is from God and will willingly follow a man who performs that kind of *miracle*.
I never saw it so clearly before, but the situation in which we find ourselves today is just one more indicator that we are in the end times and that this generation is being primed by the enemy for the great deception.
Look at Obama, he didn't have to do anything but appear charming to the masses of his followers, and they went bonkers over him...and still do...though now they are in massive defensive for him because he's proved us all right of who he is and about. It's quite striking the extremes they will go to "protect" Obama and worse completely be blinded to the truth about him....and this was on an International scale when he first ran.
Imagine those who will be defending the anti-Christ!

I don’t really know what to believe about ‘psychics’. All I know is my grandmother will on occasion predict things that come true. She predicted my grandfather’s stroke. She looked in his palm one day ánd told him that he would have a sickness come upon him that she saw his face being ‘drawn down’- but it was not as bad as he thought it would be- just very scary. It happened just like that. She once predicted a neighbor’s death in an oilfield accident. Very creepy.
I always tell her don’t ever tell me nothing!
