Attributing motive is a form of mind reading. It is "making it personal."
Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.
I am not making anything personal. I am asking all people on these threads to stop and think about where these threads have gone and what their real goal is, what spirit they are being done in.
Yesterday it was calling Protestants heretics and today it is questioning Catholic's salvation and nobody is discussing real theology in a way that will make the slightest difference to the other sides thoughts, thy are too blind to who the other side really is and do not really care about convincing the other side in a way they would understand or respect....which means logically these diatribes have a different goal.
No, I am asking all Christians whether Protestant or Catholic to stop and think about the spirit these "religion" threads are being done in and what the real goal is and who it really is serving in the long run because if it is causing hatred instead of learning it is not from God.
Believe me I will be glad to stay off your "religion" threads, as I have mostly in the past, if I have stepped on toes for pointing out how wrong the spirit is here then so be it, it was desperately needed. I want no part of this evil that delights in divisiveness and hatred....continue to call Christians unsaved or heretics on your own.
