This is what we knew was going to happen when the Supreme Court allowed for prayers of all religions. We have to accept all if we are going to be able to keep ours.

Definitely called the result of ‘Be Careful for what you wish for’, or - at the least - the end line of unintended circumstances.
When ‘we’ demand panhandling laws to stop (what WE consider) Religious Fanatics, panhandlers, bums, homeless, grifters, drifters etc from standing in front of Supermarket or Standing on street corners panhandling money
or soliciting, SORRY, but the firemen holding boots on Jerry Lewis Day, the Vet distributing Poppys or the ‘cute kids’ trying to raise money for their baseball/soccer team etc are virtually the same.
That ‘Hare Krishna’ soliciting for money at the airport thinks his ‘cause’ is just, as does the ‘Vet’ standing in front of WalMart.
Now, granted, towns and municipalities may put in their by laws that if one gets a permit, the solicitation is good and the town will probably ‘rubber stamp’ the Firemen and Vets, but once some ‘ambulance chasing’ lawyer takes up the case that the homeless guy should get a free permit, etc etc. ‘they’ have to act on the Firemen etc...
The old ‘It just depends on whose Ox is being gored’, comes to mind.....
I don’t ‘do’ the Fireman on the street corner cause my taxes and mail solicitations ‘cover’ me, the Vet and poppys could very well be (and has been) me and the taxes and parents donations basically cover Sports teams.
At least the kids with teams try to hold car washes or such to raise funds.
The Supreme court didn’t make Harvard have a black mass.
I don’t agree. Harvard is a private university.
