Actually, the Catholic Church does not claim it “wrote” the Bible, but it DID compile the Bible, meaning that it used its authority as bound to Peter by Jesus, Himself, to reject certain books and accept others.

You need to tell your Catholic brethren that then, and not us.

WE already know the Catholic church did not write the Bible, but FRoman Catholics on this forum keep telling us it did.

Wrt the Catholic Church writing the Bible, I don’t believe I ever saw a Catholic Freeper say such a thing (if they did they are wrong). I believe what they did say was that the Catholic Church decided which books belonged in the Canon. Two different things.
