I sense the Holy Spirit is doing just that via this movie.

So it’s like me saying that Jesus was crucified and raised from the dead, right?

I loved the adult book, and so did my wife.

Ultimately, I believe Heaven is real (and I believe Hell is real, too), but I just don’t buy this kid’s story.

I don’t know what happens at near death experiences, but I don’t think people get a quick visit to the pearly gates, only to go back to this planet.

The book was a big seller before the film. Based on a true story.

If anyone were allowed, it would be a child.

Remember Jesus’s position about little children.

I read this book when it first came out about 3-4 years ago. This little boy, only 3 years of age, retold things he experienced when he was in heaven for a few hours during his surgery.

For example, a little girl came up to him and told him she was his sister; that she had died inside her Mommy’s tummy. Colton had never been told that his Mom had experienced a failed pregnancy.

A man spoke to him who was his great-grandfather, his Dad’s grandfather who was very close to his Dad. Colton knew things that he had never been told about this man. When his Dad took out photos of the grandfather/ggrandfather. Colton did not recognize them until one photo of this man as a young man of about 30 years was shown to him, and he selected it as the person he had spoken to.

Colton mentions that Jesus has “markers”. Puzzled about this, his Dad questions what he means about “markers”. Were they something like color crayons or what? Colton says they were marks on Jesus’s hands and feet. What color were these markers? Red!

I could go on and on. After reading this story from a child’s memories, I am convinced this is for real. I plan to go see this movie.

I agree. It actually seems apostate to me.

I won’t see Noah. God is not dead is a GREAT movie. Haven’t seen heaven is for real yet

I saw NOAH. I like Russell Crowe and Anthony Hopkins.
It was mostly fiction. There were GIANT living rocks that built the famous ark.
Emma Watson was horribly miscast. It was an invented role to get a pretty woman on the set. I AM surprised that Hollyweird couldn't figure out how to get her clothes off during the role. I bet they slaved and sweat over that one.
What a waste of her lovely accent and diction.

I ate two boxes of buttered popcorn and a candy bar. THAT made the trip worthwhile. :o)

No, NDE’s do happen. Books have been produced about NDE’s over the years. Plus we have to remember Jesus’s position about little children. This is NOT apostate at all.

Is he sure it wasn’t a donkey’s colt?

That was the first time coming. Second coming, Jesus Christ comes as the conquering Messiah on a white horse:

Revelation 19:

11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Always wondered if the white horse of revelation was literal or symbolic? Certainly he doesn’t need a horse for traveling. We know that much

He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. That's a lot of range to cover of course he needs a horse.

To be serious, I think it is a literal horse used as a symbol of his Lordship.

Hebrews 9:27-8

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; ...

It is quite extra-Biblical.

Near death is not death and death happens once. There is no coming back.

All things work for the glory of God and what one means for evil, God can use for good, so I don’t go around making an issue of and criticizing things like this.

But as long as it is a topic at hand, I have to point out the shortcomings of such belief.

It is a sad time for the church when we ask Hollywood to provide us Bible Study programs. Is 90 minutes of film a justifiable substitute for being in church on the Sabbath?

Well, at least we are being entertained; obviously, God falls somewhat short of that “goal” eh?

Bump what you said! If we were only this excited because the Bible tells us heaven is for real.
