Actually since the 1940’s, I believe.
Thing never stay the same. Change is in the air, one way or another, one direction or another.
And while I would love to see a State of Jefferson succeed, what remained of Oregon would almost certainly ruin what remained of Oregon, and I claim the West slope of the Coast Range as home. Presently one can traverse that ground pretty well unmolested. I would hate to see that end and find myself stateless.
