Sometimes I hear people talking about things like where all the water came from, or where it went afterward. Hello?! If God exists, He can create or destroy matter as needed. He has no need for raw materials or waste disposal.
But that’s cheating. We need to believe (if we are going to Heaven) that the continents float on an ocean of water. That a comet whizzing by perturbed the balance and the continents sank and that water came out. And that a complete earthly biosphere can be stored on a gopher-wood boat and reestablished in a few years.
