Nope...You claimed a few verses didn't mean what they say...I ask you what do they mean then??? Only take a sentence or two to explain your position...And if you refuse to do that, we know you don't have anything to back up your claims...
Any Protestant on here can explain a verse with just a sentence or a few paragraphs at the most with additional scripture to back it up...
1 Corinthians 4:6 And these things, brethren, I did transfer to myself and to Apollos because of you, that in us ye may learn not to think above that which hath been written, that ye may not be puffed up one for one against the other,
1Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Surely wouldn't take too much energy or intellect on your part to tells us what these things mean...
And it would only take one or two sentences to tell us what was passed on to your religion out side of the bible from the apostles...So quit dodging the issue with excuses...
It is not like protestants believe Catholics (or the Bible) say anyway.
Luke 22:19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me."
Explained very clearly in 1 Corinthians 10:16
Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ?
“You claimed a few verses didn’t mean what they say”
Can’t you read? That’s not what I claimed at all.
Okay, I’m sick enough of dealing with this for now.
