Hi dan’l...
well I must say my young faithful protestant partner would heartily disagree with you.
When we are in a strange city and we have been in several around the world, we attempt to at least keep the Lord’s day and often morning Mass if I can. I have never had a problem finding a Catholic Church within 10 minutes or so from where we are working/staying. And believe me a Catholic would never go to a non-Catholic curch/sect for morning Mass.
He on the other hand has never found an Evangelical Free church anywhere near where we are.
I believe any Catholic on the forum will tell you the same.
But dream on.

So
Why do you always use the Catholic Church and never scripture to support your beliefs?
“

Not important. You can worship God anywhere. He is everywhere. Our only command was to “not forsake the assembling of ourselves together” for common worship.
While in Moscow, we attended a church service of other believers from around the world, from all different denominational backgrounds.

I missed this reply, but it does not correspond to what i said. Which did not refer to the number of RC buildings or its predominance in many places (and the usual corespondent liberalism), but the divisions within it beyond the basic surface unity, which divisions become more pronounced the more RCs are doctrinally committed like evangelicals. That is always the case. Look what it took to created manifest division in the Anglican churches.
The NT churches were much more diverse than is often imagined, and submission to the pope as supreme was never given or exhorted as the remedy in all the epistles to the churches in dealing with their problems, as per Rome, nor was it commended. As the church did not look to a supreme infallible pope reigning over all the church as per Rome.
