So according to your (il)logic, Jesus is scripture.
Scripture is the written Word. We are repeatedly admonished to study it to discern the truth, to adhere to it, to not go beyond it, to not add to it, that it is sufficient for salvation.
Then, we have John 1:1-14. To paraphrase: in the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God. Jesus Christ was the Word made flesh to dwell among us.
So, according to your unique logic, what exactly is Scripture if not the written Word, then?
So they let you out again, eh???
Rom_10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Gal_3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
Heb_4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Now isn't that a strange way to write a book??? The book talks...The book sees into the future...When you are looking into that book, the book is looking back at you...
I'm sure that's way over your head but if you knew the God of the book, you'd know the supernatural power in the written words of God...
