Angel Gabriel was sent By God The Father asking if she would be the Mother of the Savior... Hail Full of GRACE a sinless Vessel..is what Mary was..The Ark of the NEW Covenant..Jesus the Eucharist the new Covenant the only Covenant of the new testament.

46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”
48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
Why do you guys keep making stuff up and then pretend it is scripture???
Gabriel told Mary what was to happen, Mary's response "let it be to me according to your word." No question from Gabriel, no 'permission' from Mary. Just acceptance and obedience.
As for sinless Mary: The same Mary who in the Magnificat praises her Savior. Made up doctrine.
