How about this?...The first and every time God made a promise and/or a threat attached to a covenant with man, he limited his power. Being omnipotent, he has the right to do that. His omnipotence and omniscience are both hidden behind an impenetrable veil. Therefore, all arguments about reading his mind are futile. So, we have to come up with a practical biblical answer on our side of the veil to the question of what I must do to be saved.
