the church doesn't forbid them to marry, they take a voluntary vow of celibacy and chastity. The church merely requires them to honor that vow......want to marry, don't take the vow. Nonsense. It's not voluntary if it's mandatory for entering the priesthood or convent.
Nuns and priests who leave the ministry are allowed to renounce those vows and marry and procreate as they desire!!
And yet when Luther did it, he was condemned. How hypocritical.

Nonsense. It's not voluntary if it's mandatory for entering the priesthood or convent. And since no one forces them into the priesthood or convent it is voluntary.

Nonsense. It's not voluntary if it's mandatory for entering the priesthood or convent. Entering either is voluntary...if you volunteer, you accept the conditions. And yet when Luther did it, he was condemned. How hypocritical.
The least of Luthers problems was if he married or not.
