Whenever I want to checkout a question about the Apostolic Succession of Popes the first person I always turn to is a good old fallen away, poorly catechized former Catholic like Bob Thiel who wrote the article in question. He is the Pastor/Overseer for the Continuing Church of God used here to include those Sabbatarian (sabbath-keeping) churches that are faithful to apostolic Christianity (most generally, but not exclusively, those who had some type of affiliation with the pre-1986 Worldwide Church of God, and/or hold similar beliefs).

Good old pastor Thiel creates unsubstantiated assertions like you quote Scripture.
