Basic reality as I see it... The story of the flood itself is universal and true. It is also easy enough to believe that God might have warned the one guy to start building an ark to save himself and most animals. What ISN'T believable is that God would have wiped the whole system over sin, only to have sin back in business as if nothing had happened fifty years later. I give God credit for being several tads brighter than that. The flood was just **** happening, as usual in those days.
