Then what's wrong with *mother of Jesus* that the Catholic church felt the need to call Mary *the mother of God?
Why the need to correct the God breathed, Holy Spirit inspired word of God?
Wasn't what the Holy Spirit did good enough that it needed correcting or changing??
because the heresy that Jesus and God are not one and the same was fully refuted and called heresy by the third century.
God the Father, Jesus His Son and the Holy Spirit are One God, therefore: Jesus is God and God is Jesus and references to them are fully and freely interchangeable.
to believe otherwise is to just be a heretic.
