The 3 years are myth. Yeshua’s ministry was exactly 70 weeks long, from his mikva by John the Baptist, to Pentecost as recorded in Acts.
There seems to be diverse opinions about the length of time of Jesus's ministry. And, that depends upon the opinions of the scholars and what sources they are referencing and what point they are trying to prove.
That whole discussion is on par with arguing about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.
2000 years later it really doesn't matter. What does matter is that Jesus did live and what he taught while walking the earth and what he is teaching all of us, now.
