I suspect the reason is that many Catholics are impressed with the character of Mormons they have met.
Also, at least in my experience, Mormons don’t engage in Catholic-bashing, probably because they didn’t break away from the Catholic Church and don’t feel the need to kick at it constantly.
Also, Mormons have lifted Catholic moral teaching nearly intact, so there are lots of points of agreement.
Wow, I wished I could say this is the first time that I have seen a Catholic take such a stand for the polytheists who do so well in converting Catholics, but it isn’t.
Do you realize that they are converting Christians to a non-Christian religion?
