Feb. 14, 2014 (MonicaKelsey) - When someone says, "I am pro-life except in the case of rape or incest," they are using an oxymoron to describe themselves. This is in essence describing themselves as pro-choice and shows they have a lack of understanding of what being pro-life is truly about. Glenn Beck, who my husband listens to almost daily, is a good example of someone who is highly intelligent, but lacks the understanding of what it means to be pro-life with no exceptions. Let me explain.
First of all, let me tell you about who I am. I am a medic and a firefighter from Indiana. Four years ago at the age of 37 I reconnected with my birth mother, who placed me for adoption at birth. The information she entrusted me with the day we reconnected has changed the course of my life forever.
My birth mother was brutally raped at 17 and as a result became pregnant with me. But in 1972 my life was protected by a law that said that my life had value. And even though the law was in place, protecting me, my birth-mother succumbed to the pressure of carrying a child conceived out of rape and found herself at a back alley abortion clinic at the advice of her mother.
While standing in front of the man who was going to take my life, my birth mother changed her mind. She left this clinic and never looked back. Her mother hid her from the outside world. She gave birth to me and never even looked at me. But she gave me the greatest gift I have ever received, on top of my life. She gave me an amazing family. And for that I will forever be grateful.

Is that what you are claiming?
Tell me specifically something that I have said that isnt true and accurate, cut and paste the statement.

Every temple I have attended over 30 years, unless I was with my ward members I had no clue what were the status of other members.
When one makes covenant to the Lord they are asked if they have been faithful to their vows, and the TEMPLE RECOMMEND IS renewal is every TWO years, everyone is the same in the Lord's eyes NO ONE is an elitist, the house of the Lord is for everyone who makes and honor their covenant.
When you are in the temple every one dresses the same no one knows if one is plumber or a lawyer etc.
Now Ansell show me where I said that a Temple Recommend isnt needed to be members of the temples, so you have no idea what the status is of the members.
I added the word Temple Recommend = "renewal" so you are not confused
Having a renewal means the recommend incase you are a little slow... which will never tell you the who those others with you there how rich or educated they are everyone is a like in the Lord eyes this is one place where ones rank in life has no bearings. This is a classic distortion of truth right off of you own post Ansell and fingers Wow and wanted to pin me down and keep me from the shuffle.... trying say outright things I never said let alone alluded to... Everyone knows a recommend is need to do temple work.
Who said anything about income or money, except that to become the elite, they have to give 10% of it to the religion?
They are the faithful elites of the Mormon religion, to quote me “”I described him as being a temple Mormon, like Beck and Mitt Romney, that means they are all of the holiest and most devout Mormons, and they are examined separately by a Bishop and the stake president every two years to prove it, and are then issued official ID which they must renew annually to enter the secret and holy Temples which are forbidden to average Mormons and partake in the secret ceremonies of the elites, (such as converting Catholic Popes).””
Ok distortion time is over for you Ansell BYE

What is wrong with giving 10% it is a wonderful thing to do!
I am so blessed and thankful in so many ways and sometimes I don’t even realized until years later when I reflect on it how much my life has changed.
The money is required to be an elite, to become a temple Mormon, those who don’t pay up, are relegated to plain buildings and forbidden the temples.
No 10%, no full equality as a Mormon.
I don’t why I bother you have not been able to show me where I said a temple recommend isn’t needed?
and you did distort the process and some of the news report said the Pope wife name was fictitious as in hoax or what I don’t nor do I care.
It is much to do about none thing!
no 10% to the Lord wow social justice thinking...
When I was posting about temple Mormons and ids and temple recommends and 10% being required to qualify, you jumped in started on how it was false, and that you attended temple for 30 years and never knew people’s status.
You also didn’t clear it up as the posts went on, there is no question that their status is being a temple Mormon, not a common Mormon.
“”Milk before meat”” is a tactic taught to many Mormons, with the goal being to conceal their religion from possible converts. There is video of the technique being taught.
10% to the Mormon religion, or else they are second rate Mormons, forbidden the fancy buildings, and facing a second rate afterlife.
Pay up, or you become second class in the religion.
Ansell someone is coaching you and they are full of it!
I knew more about the Church before I ever was baptized so nothing shocks me what the gainsayers try to say or distort how difficult it was after 2000 years to restore the Lord Church on earth trying to understand a new language etc.
It is so easy to be a back seat driver due date is all most here what have other tried to do to prepare for the return of the Lord, could it be none were called there fore no instruction were given??
But we been down this road before a few days ago gosh someone is slow...

I am sure there is...
Yes milk before meat is a scripture and it so true because if one does not know what they are talking about they could be lost forever..
1 Cor. 3 Milk comes before meat in the Church
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
Hebrew 5
11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Doc & Cov. 19
21 And I command you that you preach naught but repentance, and show not these things unto the world until it is wisdom in me.
22 For they cannot bear meat now, but milk they must receive; wherefore, they must not know these things, lest they perish.
23 Learn of me, and listen to my words; walk in the meekness of my Spirit, and you shall have peace in me.
24 I am Jesus Christ; I came by the will of the Father, and I do his will.

I see you spend a lot of time listening to what others have to say, and gobble up the latest gossip...
How much time have you spend in going to the source working with the Lord about this??
this take real effort of studying, pondering what you read an praying to receive a witness from the Holy Ghost if these things are true or not?
The world is always ready to turn good things upside down.
Don’t make things up, no one is “coaching me”, but that is sure often said about Mormons and Scientology, and Hare Krishnas.
We have seen an excellent example of milk before meat on this thread, when simple respomses are called for, instead we see long winded evasiveness.
A Mormon who doesn’t pay the required amount annually, cannot even go inside the temple to watch her daughter get married.
Here is the video of how the Mormons are taught to work on the weak and the ignorant, at least as revealed by emeritus Dean of Religious Education at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah. Millet is a Latter-day Saint author and speaker with more than 60 published works on virtually all aspects of Mormonism. Millet co-founded the evangelical-Mormon dialogue.

No, actually all we have to do is google the official sites of the Mormon religion instructing it's followers on how to qualify for a temple recommend, and the tithe requirement, and how a regular Mormon can't enter without being a full tithe member, not even to watch her daughter getting married, etc.
We do the same to find out that the happenings and ceremonies inside, are secret.
If someone is motivated to, they can even go to Catholic answers, and other Catholic sources to find out what the Catholic church teaches about the religion created by Joseph Smith of Vermont.

Whose fault is that?
I am sure the women knew for years this day was coming?
It is the same old story living beyond our means...
Like the person who chooses to but the big screen TV etc but no money for insurance etc.
Good character is hard work...
Even the poorest can give 10% and if they are lacking the Church has helped out with electric, food from the bishop story house, rent etc.
So there is no excuse for not exercising faith in the Lord when even there is back up.
I have worked in the bishop store house filling bags for those who were in need and deliver them.
There are authorize slips to go to Goodwill and get furniture or what ever other needs
Sop there should be no excuse for not trying to exercise faith
Thanks for a little plain language, that was refreshing.
I guess you know that most Christians reading that will find it unlike their own churches, also the separation, literally, of the elite Mormons (religiously speaking) from the average Mormons, as they actually attend separate classes of buildings, the grandiose temples for the 10% givers, and the plain buildings for the riff raff, even the Mormon after life is segregated by it.
Harry Reid and Mitt Romney are destined to become Gods, and have a great afterlife, whereas a Mormon who doesn’t pay the 10%, isn’t going to be doing so well.
this is why the scriptures say natural man because he is doing all of his search through the worlds yardstick and spiritual things will be never address in that matter.
You can real instructions manuals all you want but if you are not aware or grounded in the scriptures that supports many things, you will be none the wiser, you will still be rooted in the world for that is not the Lord’s path.
You want to know things about the Lord you need to recognized the spirit of the Lord, this the world cannot teach.

Here is another example of the ‘milk before meat’ of Smith’s religious followers, as we have seen on this thread, when the subject of converting the Popes of the Catholic church was described, the effort was made to convince the readers that it doesn’t happen.
As we learn, it happens, and it is an important function of the Mormon religion.
“Pope John Paul II was baptized not once but four times in April 2006, in line with Mormon practice of waiting a year before starting these rites. He died on April 2, 2005.
His name was purged from the online IGI, so a normal search will not find them. But his four now-anonymous files are still in the database and three still show his parents’ names.
Pope Pius XII was baptized three times and also “sealed” in eternal marriage to a fictional Mrs Eugenio Pacelli. Saint Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Jesuit order of priests, was also “sealed” to a bogus wife. Catholic clergy do not marry.
Names are purged from the public IGI after being found and publicized. Pope John Paul I and Pope Paul VI were both baptized and were listed on the online IGI in December but removed after Reuters asked about them, Farah confirmed.
But earlier popes, going back at least to the Crusader Pope Urban II (1088-1099), are mostly still there. “They remove any names that could potentially cause criticism,” Radkey said.”
You have no idea what you are talking about what does building up Zion (Temples) have to do with the poor it does not take money away from the poor, we have tithing money 10% we have also fast Sunday for the Bishops store house, we have donations for all kinds of things.
Like I said in clear language
even the poor can pay their 10% it helps to build strong character.
Pay an honest tithe 10%
If they need money for food, utilities , Rent even furniture the Church helps out with that from the bishop store house.
After a while things will improve in their lives they will not always be poor. It is called teach a man how to fish.
Plus there is LDS employment center to take a test for one talents or job skills, learn how to do resumes, and also listings for available jobs,
Does one always want to remain a slothful servant?
Matthew 25:26
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
D&C 58
26 For behold, it is not meet that I should command in all things; for he that is compelled in all things, the same is a slothful and not a wise servant; wherefore he receiveth no reward.
27 Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness;
28 For the power is in them, wherein they are agents unto themselves. And inasmuch as men do good they shall in nowise lose their reward.
29 But he that doeth not anything until he is commanded, and receiveth a commandment with doubtful heart, and keepeth it with slothfulness, the same is damned.
30 Who am I that made man, saith the Lord, that will hold him guiltless that obeys not my commandments?
31 Who am I, saith the Lord, that have promised and have not fulfilled?
32 I command and men obey not; I revoke and they receive not the blessing.
The Lord’s Church is the antidote to Obamacare...
