What Jesus did on the cross, is a one time done deal, but conversion for us is an ongoing, everyday matter.
I agree that salvation is in three tenses: past, present and future. The past tense is regeneration. We have been saved from the guilt and penalty of sin. The present tense is sanctification. We’re being saved from the habit and dominion of sin. The future tense is glorification. We will saved in the sense of complete conformity to Christ.
