There, fixed it for ya.
>>embrace the totality of the Scripture and of the Apostles Our Lord gave us<<
Please show us where they gave us the belief in the assumption of Mary. Obviously if you want us to have the totality of scripture you would want us to see where the apostles our Lord gave us taught that right?
Why? Since your opinions on faith are so outre and well documented, what interest would anyone have in your questions or opinions sweetie? Your odd “church of one” interests me not even a little.
As for me and mine, we will serve the Lord and honor His Birthday, His Resurrection and his weekly Day of Worship exactly as His Church defines them. Yours, well you seem happy in your odd little congregation of your own self, so why do you care what me and the billion or so Catholic and Orthodox followers of Christ believe?
The more RCs appeal to Scripture as if it were the basis for doctrines which in fact Rome channels these out of her amorphous Traditions of men (even those which tradition-based EOs disagree with) - not on the basis of the weight of Scriptural evidence - then they more it reveals that these are based on the premise that Rome of being the .one true infallible church, the very thing that they seek to prove by invoking Scripture and Tradition.
On the other tread Staples tries to argue for the validity of Rome's claims by using a means Rome rejects as a basis for assurance, that of examination of Scripture, and must do so by divesting Scripture of its Divine inspiration, since only Rome can authoritatively affirm this, and making assertions (that rely on the premise that Rome is supreme, they very thing he needs to and cannot substantiated, despite his egregious extrapolation.
