Sure I can. One says the Word was God.

The other does not say the Word was God.

“Sure I can.”

Apparently you can’t, since it doesn’t appear you are able to even use the actual words of the text to make any sense. I suppose this is what blindness ACTUALLY looks like, eh?

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The Greek word for “God” in that verse is the same for both instances of “God”. If you deny that the Word was God you also need to believe that the first was not God.
