TC, you know you have the better argument when the cereal box shows up!

I even made a special one for him!

That is your only response.

You don't even have anything original. You even try to use the fractal response that I first posted to you...

I’m generally not in favor of government regulations and control, but like anyone I can clearly see that this YOPIOS cereal leads to mental disease and oughta be examined by the FDA scientists.

When it comes down to it, yeah.

Look, I went to Masses long before I planned to do this, and it’s the same thing. Mary and the angels and saints are respected, but they’re not treated like God. They’re just not.

All Christians are considered saints.

Please read some of the snarky comments by some of the anti-Catholics and you might not even consider them Christian any more.

Necromancy is a sin.

So is bearing false witness. Fortunately Catholics don't engage in Necromancy

Look, I went to Masses long before I planned to do this, and it’s the same thing. Mary and the angels and saints are respected, but they’re not treated like God. They’re just not.

On the contrary, check out this stuff on Mary and get back to us on that.

From the Catechism of the Catholic church....

http://www.vatican.va/archive/catechism/p123a9p6.htm

969 “This motherhood of Mary in the order of grace continues uninterruptedly from the consent which she loyally gave at the Annunciation and which she sustained without wavering beneath the cross, until the eternal fulfillment of all the elect. Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation .... Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix.”510

Names of God from the Bible. Compare them to the names given to Mary in the above prayer.

Jesus

Hope (our) - 1 Timothy 1:1

Counselor - Isaiah 9:6

Advocate - 1 John 2:1

Mediator - 1 Timothy 2:5, Hebrews 9:15, Hebrews 12:24

Holy Spirit

Comforter - John 14:26

Helper – John 14:16

Lady of Perpetual Help Novenas

Third Novena Prayer ( 3rd. Saturday)

O Mother of Perpetual Help, thou art the dispenser of all the gifts which God grants to us miserable sinners; and for this end He has made thee so powerful, so rich, and so bountiful, in order that thou mayest help us in our misery.

Thou are the advocate of the most wretched and abandoned sinners who have recourse to thee: come to my aid, for I recommend myself to thee. In thy hands I place my eternal salvation, and to thee I entrust my soul. Count me amongst thy most devoted servants; take me under thy protection, and it is enough for me. For, if thou wilt protect me, I fear nothing; not from my sins, because thou wilt obtain for me the pardon of them; nor from the devils, because thou art more powerful than all hell together; nor even from Jesus, my judge, because by one prayer from thee He will be appeased.

But one thing I fear: that in the hour of temptation I may through negligence fail to have recourse to thee and thus perish miserably. Obtain for me, therefore, the pardon of my sins, love for Jesus, final perseverance, and the grace ever to have recourse to thee, O Mother of Perpetual Help. 3 Ave’s

P: Pray for us O Holy Mother of God

R: That we may be made worthy of the promises of eternal life

Asking others to pray for you is certainly in Scripture

NOT dead people. You don't pray to them, and you don't commune with them. Period.

You want to go down that road, then you can live with the consequences.

“NOT dead people. You don’t pray to them, and you don’t commune with them. Period.”

Satan wanted to sow this seed of discord, so he influenced mortals to remove from the Bible you use the books that could help you understand.

Sad, but there’s just no persuading you.

Satan wanted to sow this seed of discord, so he influenced mortals to remove from the Bible you use the books that could help you understand.

Now that's novel thought, but I think I can state it more clearly.

Satan wanted to sow this seed of discord, so he influenced Roman Catholic mortals to remove from the Bible you use the books that could help you understand take their eyes off Jesus as the only Mediator between God and man!

1 Timothy 2: 1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. 7 And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles.

8 Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing. ...

There is a huge difference between intercessor and mediator. Jesus is the mediator, the saints are the intercessors. Just like we all are here on earth when we pray for others.
