Hmmm, perhaps you should read the story of the coming of the Ten Commandments. When you do, I certainly hope that you realize not ONE Hebrew could keep them all, until Jesus. Salvation is by the Grace of God in Christ, not by your efforts to keep the Commandments.

I agree completely. The Hebrews couldn't do it because it's not humanly possible and they didn't have the indwelling spirit of the Lord....God knew this:

Deu_5:29 Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!

That new heart was fulfilled under the new covenant mediated by Christ:

Jer 31:33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

God's laws, which are the written expression of his love, are written in the hearts and minds of believers through the spirit of God. This spirit then lives through us and we step back and say "lord, take my life and help me overcome". The end result is that it our lives fall in line with God's laws.
