I was raised in a Staunch Catholic Church, - after Jackie K. married a divorce Wealthy man things became suddenly clear to me.

After that wedding took place the Vatican labeled Jackie O a 'public sinner'. Ari was long dead when Jackie received Last Rites. If a sinner repents, Christian charity must be afforded her since God is Merciful. Would you not allow her repentance?

That’s a falsehood for sure.

There are a thousand excuses for leaving the Catholic Church, but it really boils down to two; poor Catechesis, or un confessed sin. The latter usually revolves around sex, abortion, or birth control.

You will always be a Catholic, even though an inactive one. The Baptismal mark and Confirmation mark on your soul do not go away. They are there forever.

No one wants to read your nonsense. This thread is about why people came back to the Catholic faith, not about Catholic haters. If I had started it the minute I read your nonsense I would have taken it down. If you not a Catholic you have no right at all badmouthing Catholics. Go watch a ballgame.

The reason most people would leave the Catholic Church is they want to do it their way, not God’s way. They have no self-control, no discipline.

“To paraphrase Bishop Sheen, fallen away Catholics often are the most vocal enemies of the Church.”

A guilty conscience is a hell of a thing.

And THAT is the unscriptural fight I won't partake of.

What mark does Jesus bear, bestowed upon Him by John ?

That’s the same thing the Mormon cult says of their apostates who convert to Christianity. Come to think of it, even the picture used in the OP itself is quite Cultic and Mormon-like.

Are you saying that you don’t know that Jesus is God, the second person of the Trinity.

John 1

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God; 3 all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came for testimony, to bear witness to the light, that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the light, but came to bear witness to the light. 9 The true light that enlightens every man was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world knew him not. 11 He came to his own home, and his own people received him not. 12 But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God; 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.

I am amazed when any human puts their faith in an institution and confuse it with God

To all those that are faithfully attached to the Bible: Please remember that there was first a church, the church that Jesus founded, before there was a Bible. Please, also keep in mind that if you have abandoned the church and embraced Sola Scriptura, you’re in trouble. Individuals were not given the charism of infallibility. That’s why we have 30,000 contradictory Protestant sects. If they were are infallible interpreters of the scriptures, they would all agree. It was the Holy Catholic Church, the church founded by Jesus Christ, that was endowed with infallibility. Jesus Christ’s church needs the charism of infallibility; otherwise, it cannot teach the necessary ingredients, faith and morals, that are necessary for salvation. Remember that the church, the Holy Catholic Church, is the mother of the Bible, and not the other way around.

How about “They fell for the pomp and circumstance down at the local protestant mega church now they realize they were being fed at home”.

Which - BTW - is what prayer is. "I pray thee" just means "Please".

There's some debased modern notion that prayer means worship: however it does not. Prayer is only worship when it is directed to God.

That is absolutely wrong...Prayer is worship no matter who it is directed to...

That was Church policy? Or were some bishops negligent in protecting their floc

Your top dog vicar obviously condones it...Priests who chase after women are excommunicated but the queers and queer pedos are just shuffled around...

“You don’t show devotion to your loved ones?

You don’t pray for your loved ones?

You don’t ask your loved ones for things?

Which - BTW - is what prayer is. “I pray thee” just means “Please”. “

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I have a better one for you..

You don’t talk to your loved ones about what troubles you?

Remember the Gosnell trial? Remember how every day, sometimes several times a day I had to post stuff here because the lamestream media was not? How do you think I dealt with that?

Yea you guess it! Go to church daily and talk to Mary. Of course when one is Catholic she answers which is so cool because I never had this as a Baptist.

Anyway I would tell Mary about all the pictures of babies I had to look at, you remember the ones? babies with a scissor marks in the back of the neck, and other nasty stuff? Mary always answered back “I saw worse”.
You know what? I don’t care if you are Catholic or Protestant no one can argue with that. Mary did see much worse.

Be honest here.

Why don't you try it??? What are the statistics for the number of male victims of Catholic clergy compared to male victims of adult males in other religions and shools???

I hate to ask a question to a question but here goes.

What religion currently has the highest sex abuse of males?

Give you a hint: It’s not Catholic.
