I do pay attention to Duet. with this in mind: No Torah, no God. No Torah no Duet. or Jesus. No Jews, No Torah.
The Authority of the Torah is in the fact that it is unchanged in any way manner shape or form since the first moment it came to the earth. That takes Jews.
No argument here. Yeshua came to fulfill as shall be his second coming.
Accepting Jesus is, per Jewish law (the one Jews live by) disqualifying in almost all aspects of Judaism. An orthodox Jew would not eat the food of, pray next to, etc, a “Messianic Jew.”
As has been said already, a person born of a Jewess or converted under Jewish law (orthodox, folks,) remains a Jew forever. There is always repentance..... (which itself has laws and details and steps—like everything in Judaism.)
The premise of the article is incorrect. “Messianic Jews” and Christians can say whatever they wish, but it is not Judaism nor binding upon Jews.
‘You seen this one? ping....
You should modify your statement....all proselytizers should go after us and only us (you and me.) Don’t waste time with the other Jews. Send me all of your literature and reply only to my posts. Keep working!
Jews were here in America long beforeit was America. Stuyvesant allowed a colony of Jews into what was then known as Neu Amstredam. They fitted in an became useful and propserous members of Neu Amsterdam.
There were no socialists, as we know them, and the ‘GibsMeDat’ mentality now prevalent in America would have been reason for exile or execution in Neu Amsterdam.
In time, Neu Amsterdam morphed into New York City and finally degerated into the present Neu Yuk Sh*ty.
Oh, let’s not forget teh Jewish colony in Savannah. It dates to the same dim and didstant past.
PS No socialism or ‘GibsMeDat’ issues there, then.
PPS Judaism is not inherently collectivist.
Nothing in that rehash of junior high history, disagrees with post 29.
Were you exposed to the history I mentioned while you were in an level of Pooblik Skrewl Collective, you would have to be the oldest man alive.
Dewey and Mann, and their disciples saw to that long ago.
Nonsense, many here were taught American history, it used to be required.
No, but it's same old, same old. This gets so tiresome. Where's "Headache Guy" when you need him?
I like to think that I appreciate the vast differences among the various groups of chrstians but there is one thing held in common by every single one of them: their "proof" of the truth of chrstianity consists in nothing other than repeating the claims . . . over and over and over and over. They never do anything but this. Just as the "new testament" is self-vindicating (at least to Protestants) and self-canonized, so chrstianity is somehow self-authorizing.
I took a quick look at the initial post. Nothing but quotes the so-called chrstological prophecies paired with their self-claimed "fulfillments." In other words, J*sus fulfilled these prophecies because the "new testament" or the authoritative chrstian church claims he did. That no chrstian can see the absurdity of this type of reasoning is not my fault.
