Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven
Hallowed Your Most Holy Name!
You Alone Are Worthy. You Alone Are Holy
You Alone Are the One True God!

Abba, Father,
How sad, that even as he was on his deathbed
David's family attempted to wrest the kingdom from his hand.
And Here we see Adonijah, Absolom's brother, trying to do the same thing as Absalom, as if he hadn't learned a vital lesson from that tragic event!
But Bathsheba remembers David's Promise to Solomon, and reminds him of it.
LORD, help us remember YOUR promises,
Especially when things look really bad..

We pray for the Repentance, Restoration, and Renewal of Our Beloved Nation.
We Pray For Families,
that They will prosper and Grow in You
We Pray For Children,
That They will Be Raised to Love You

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

This Rather Long Passage From The Book of Kings describes the Death of David and Solomon's Succession to the Throne. It also illustrates that, even to his last days on Earth, David's early sins haunt his family. Yet, David made a promise, and he keeps it.
Help us remember and cling to the promises that God has given to us, to Israel, to His People, and to those who believe in Him.

Come and pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Families and FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Kudos for such an excellent posting. The pictures and the prayer are top-notch. Have been doing my Bible study in 1 and 2 Kings. The history of the Hebrew nation is absolutely fascinating.
