Jesus is on top. He is the head of the church, which is His body.
WOW, you are coming around!! Of course Jesus is the head of the church, but while He was here on Earth, He designated a titular head of His church to take over when He left. Upon this rock I will build MY CHURCH...the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

He took bread, gave thanks to God, and said TAKE THIS ALL OF YOU AND EAT IT.....THIS IS MY BODY
