There are at least three layers to Daniel's 70 week prophecy.

The first layer begins with Artaxerxes' command to rebuild the temple until the Messiah is cut off, then begins again after Messiah returns, after an absence of 2,000 years, to confirm the Covenant. This would equal a total of 70 generations, or 490 years.

The second layer is the period of the Messiah's ministry on earth (from his baptism until he baptizes with the spirit), 70 actual weeks, 490 days.

The third layer, IMO, began when Israel was established as a nation in one day in 1948. 2018 will be the 70th week of years since its birth.

From here, I'm really at a loss as to when the last trump will sound (around 2018 or 2018 +7 or so). :-)

Better re study that one. There is only one period or prophesy of 70 weeks, not three.
