are you arguing that being the instrument and steward of Scripture makes it the infallible interpreter of Scripture which must be followed.

yes, in addition to Christ's promises...

yes, in addition to Christ's promises ..

Thank you for your forthright answer, which unlike your affirmation that Scripture is your source for real assurance of truth, is consistent with the premise that Rome is your real source of assurance, as it alone claims to be authoritatively define what Scripture consists of and what it means. Thus, like the Mormons and other sola ecclesia cults, Rome effectively claims to be the sole and autocratic supreme authority above Scripture. As also forthrightly stated by another RC, the Church is its own law.

However, an argument by assertion is just that, while your premise that being the instrument and steward of Scripture, and inheritor of promises of God (and having historical descent i am sure you could add) makes it the infallible interpreter of Scripture which must be followed, effectively nukes the church.

For rather than as under the RC model, the church actually began in dissent from those who were the stewards of Scripture, (Rm. 3:2; 9:4) and inheritors of promises of Divine guidance, presence and perpetuation, and who had historical descent, (Lv. 10:11; Dt. 4:31; 17:8-13; Is. 41:10, Ps. 89:33,34; cf. Mt. 23:2 etc.)

In contrast, the Lord established His claims upon Scriptural substantiation, in text and in power, as did the apostles and early church. (Mt. 22:23-45; Lk. 24:27,44; Jn. 5:36,39; Acts 2:14-35; 4:33; 5:12; 15:6-21;17:2,11; 18:28; 28:23; Rm. 15:19; 2Cor. 12:12, etc.)

Since you operate under a different basis than that which the church began, and thus do not look to Scripture the transcendent standard for obedience and testing and establishing truth claims, as is abundantly evidenced to be, you are not to ascertain the veracity of Rome's claims by Scripture, but are to submit to it more like Mormons are required to do to their supreme authority.
