No knots here. The statement is quite straightforward and did not have to be explained to the disciples afterward. Are you a literalist? Is the Bible Literally True? or is it all metaphor and moral fables to be reinterpreted as convenient to suit the times and particular preachers?
The remembrance to which Yeshua refered has been spoken and practiced since the MelekZedek blessed Abraham.
Yeshua didn’t come to invent a new super-pagan religion; he came to validate the faith he gave to Abraham.
So, yes, the word of Yehova is literally true in every way. That requires his remembrance to be spirit.
When one is filled with the Spirit, one is given wisdom and discernment and one is not given to these types of questions. It is abundantly clear to a Spirit-filled believer exactly what the passage means.
The fact you cannot see it lets us know immediately that you are not born again and that is what we want you to have. We want you to have no doubt whatsoever about anything in Scripture and that kind of wisdom can only be imparted by the Holy Spirit.
