Joh 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. No one is thirsty for Jesus...They're thirsty for liquid...No one is hungry for Jesus...People are hungry for hamburgers...Something to satisfy their stomachs... IT'S A METAPHOR for something spiritual...

now I realize why the bible warns against self interpretation...pathetic

There is no such warning; only the warning Paul gave about the catholics and their “other Jesus.”

Not spiritual eh??? When you get hungry for Jesus you go into the sanctuary and pick up some 'finger' food???

I knew you wouldn't be able to respond to the verses...No Catholic ever can, intelligently, that is...

But just for the record, I didn't interpret anything...I basically asked how the one verse is not literal but the other one is, in the Catholic mind...
