"you could always go to a Mass where the Mass/homily is in a language you dont understand.."
"Of course you can always go to a foreign language mass near your residence, and let the whole message go over your head."
"My advice would be to bring a crossword or book or rosary beads and just ignore the sermon once it starts going in a direction you don't like."
"Try to remember that Mass is about you worshipping your Lord, not about any one priests particular homily."
"That is the advantage of a Latin Mass."--"I wish I had a nickel for every time I hear the term Social Justice at my Church."
Can this be real? Are you serious? This explains why the Catholic denomination is a pro-abortion/pro-homosexual agenda/pro-immigration, democrat voting denomination.
Are you conservatives? Then do something for your church or for yourselves, or for America, but do something.
It sure appears that way.

Sitting there, not doing anything, gives the appearance of condoning the message.
We non-Catholics keep being assured that things are changing in the Catholic church, but reading the posts in this thread, it doesn't seem to be the case.
*Go to a church where you can't understand the language*? REALLY?
*I go to a liberal parish*? Really?
Where's the change? It's not coming from the top down.
It is acceptable and Christ like for the Priest to encourage compassion for the law breaker. It is not acceptable for a priest to advocate law breaking.
I was raised in the southern baptist church. I walked out one day and never went back. I wiped my shoes off of it, without comment.
I then became a very active member of the Episcopal church. When I wiped my shoes of that one...I did it before a meeting of the Deacons. I know how superior they felt, but that is none of my business. It’s between them and God.
I am no longer a member of any Church or Religion. A Church is only a building. It is who we associate with that is important. I associate with Christians. My husband and I pray together (and separately) daily.
I have no need of the corrupted churches infiltrating this country.
What you said
ansel .... yes ... Christianity is a religion of action!
Indeed, we are not the Buddha! We are not to sit quietly and think holy thoughts! Ansel knows.
A Christian needs a properly-informed and well-informed conscience and then ACT on it! So those who babble about their conscience ... silly people. Act on it!
“My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s word and put it into practice.” (With charity, of course)
The Catholic Church is not a denomination.
