You'd be wrong there. How you can equate immigration laws with the lives of preborn children is beyond me. There is no moral comparison.
Like all believing Catholics, I'm at Mass to receive Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament, not to hear a sermon on politics. But I've heard much stupider things from the mouths of priests than talk of immigration reform.
As I stated before, there was no talk of immigration at our Vigil Mass this evening. And I don't even think it would have been very controversial in my parish. I attend a parish of mostly one percenters and my impression is most of them don't care one way or the other about immigration reform. They certainly seem to have a don't ask, don't tell policy with their gardners and cleaning ladies.
