Oh really! So the “magesterium” of today witnessed what Christ taught?

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

I think the “big D Disciples and the big A Apostles” as you want to call them ended with the death of John. The so called "magesterium" wasn't there to "remember".

A magisterium is exactly what you said it was- those with teaching authority to teach others. The Apostles had it and they appointed their successors.
