The evidence does not support any claim that “the gospels are authentic and historically accurate.” We have documentary evidence of substantial alteration, and that’s without even having any of the originals. We know that scribes and others deleted and inserted at will. Textual analysis is very clear on this.
To claim that “the gospels are authentic and historically accurate” is a statement of blind faith unsupported by the evidence at hand.

Liberal theology credentials mean nothing to me. The credentials of their critics are much more impressive in my opinion.

No, it's based on the
evidence as observed by many conservative scholars who come to much different conclusions than these liberal theologans.

If you believe that junk, then you have not been listening to Bible teaching ministers like I have. It is the Bible verse by verse. I do not trust any of this new age junk but I do believe the Bible.
