Amazing that you got all of that out of my simple article Rashp! And why do you assume that I don’t constantly preach Christ and Him crucified? You don’t know me, my motives or even what you are talking about. I forgive you for your “Blog pimp reference’, and for (Falsely) accusing me of selling survivalists gear.I think you need to get on Decaf, brother, and quit bearing false witness against a pastor who you know nothing of.
So says someone who rejects Jesus Christ as the authority on Christianity and relies instead on Rabbinical Pharisees to define their personal Self Alone flavor of Christianity.
When someone only accepts the Pharisee Approved Luther Subset of Scripture rather than the entire Bible what they have to say with regard to Scripture is by definition based on an incomplete understanding of the Word of God. Furthermore, its almost always a self-serving personal interpretation that isnt even consistant with the portion of Scripture they do claim to accept.
So you see, I at the very least know "someone" doesm't even accept the entire Old Testament Jesus Christ and the Apostles used, therefore preaches to others based on an incomplete understanding of Scripture, and markes their personal view of prophey by hooking to events taking place today but denies that they're in any way implying that said events have anything to do with what they're posting.
I also know they routinely pimp their blog full of other such hype so to say I'm talking about someone "you know nothing about" is either a lie or attempt to hide from the fact that "someone" has been pumping at least what they want others to know about them for a long time.
You don’t make any sense Rashputin. I have no idea what you are talking about, and no desire to either.
>I bet he’s in the basement rolled up in the fetal position rocking himself.<
.
No he’s not — he’s playing golf and you and I are paying the green fees and congresscritters are cheering him on.

It’s Rome that has erred in rejecting the Jewish canon and adding 7 more books into their bibles, most of which they don’t really even believe in, such as Judith which the RCC acknowledges to be a work of fiction due to its significant historical and geographical errors.
As for the “self alone” nonsense. It’s Rome that rejects the sufficiency of Christ’s work on the cross, and asserts that they can add to God’s grace in order to earn salvation.
Like the prophecy hucksters, though, those who would pretend to witness for Christ while belittling others as "puny humans" rather than precious lost souls are only concerned with their Self and their Self Alone which is why the preach Self Worship rather than Christ and Him crucified.
In fact, such folks run from a crucifix like a bunch of B movie vampires because they know it was Christ on the Cross that saves us, not their personal favorite flavor of Self Alone Self Worship.
Ah, the predictable kindergarten child, "you're crazy" taunt followed by the usual, "I don't care" over the departing shoulder.
As usual with your trolling nature, you just come around to pick a fight. You truly are a “puny” person.
Throughout the Bible God has attempted to warn, teach, and prepare His people. He used prophecy as a means to instruct His followers about how to prepare and be ready. The prophecy deniers have always tried to thwart that effort. God used prophecy consistently throughout history to allow those faithful to His word to prepare for coming judgment. Noah, Lot, and Joseph are examples of those who listened and understood. God has never left His faithful without knowledge of what was coming and how to prepare. Each of those believers was mocked and ridiculed but were proven correct and saved from Gods wrath.
Today we have those who would have us believe that sometime in the past God stopped giving us information of what to prepare for. Somehow they would have us believe that He did not instruct us about what was coming and how to prepare. They use the same mocking tone as Josephs brothers and people in Noahs day. Peter and others warned us to be mindful of the words which were spoken before and that there would be scoffers.
2 Peter 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: 3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
There is a force in this world that would have us not believe or be prepared for coming judgment on this world. Just as with Noah, Joseph, and Lot, I believe the prophets have given us information of what is coming. We were told it would not be easy to understand.
2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
I believe that God HAS given us information about what the future holds and has told us how to prepare. He used the prophets to inform the people of what was coming throughout history and He has not abandoned us to guess about what the future holds. Just as in Noahs day we have been information about what is coming and the same force that caused people to scoff at Noah is at work today to keep people from being prepared for what is coming.
I, for one, would rather ere on the side of being over prepared then to suffer like those who scoffed at Noah, Lot, and Joseph or those who will suffer for scoffing at us who would be prepared today.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.(Matthew 24:44-46)
Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. (Luke 12:37)
James teaches that even just one sin makes you guilty of the whole law.
“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” (Jas 2:10)
Paul speaks of his sin nature, his frequent sins, and his inability to be righteous according to the Law, and his thankfulness for Christ.
“For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.” (Rom 7:15-25)
Paul teaches that we are free from the curse of the law, for Christ was made a curse for us, that we may receive the promise by faith.
“But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” (Gal 3:11-14)
Paul teaches that men are not saved because they did good works or were obedient, but are saved for the purpose that they perform good works, which they were before appointed that they should do them.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Eph 2:8-10)
Christ agrees, asserting that not even our faith is from ourselves, but is given from above, according as how God chose us in Him from before the foundation of the world that we should produce good works, and that our fruit should abide.
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” (Joh 15:16)
Thus we conclude that salvation is entirely the gift of God, not based on our personal merits, but is effectually carried through by the almighty power of God, who works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure; so that our faith is such that it produces good works and obedience, though we are not judged to damnation for not being incapable of being righteous according to the law.
As your own “Doctor of Grace” affirmed,
“And further, should any one be inclined to boast, not indeed of his works, but of the freedom of his will, as if the first merit belonged to him, this very liberty of good action being given to him as a reward he had earned, let him listen to this same preacher of grace, when he says: For it is God which works in you, both to will and to do of His own good pleasure; and in another place: So, then, it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. Now as, undoubtedly, if a man is of the age to use his reason, he cannot believe, hope, love, unless he will to do so, nor obtain the prize of the high calling of God unless he voluntarily run for it; in what sense is it not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy, except that, as it is written, the preparation of the heart is from the Lord? Otherwise, if it is said, It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy, because it is of both, that is, both of the will of man and of the mercy of God, so that we are to understand the saying, It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy, as if it meant the will of man alone is not sufficient, if the mercy of God go not with itthen it will follow that the mercy of God alone is not sufficient, if the will of man go not with it; and therefore, if we may rightly say, it is not of man that wills, but of God that shows mercy, because the will of man by itself is not enough, why may we not also rightly put it in the converse way: It is not of God that shows mercy, but of man that wills, because the mercy of God by itself does not suffice? Surely, if no Christian will dare to say this, It is not of God that shows mercy, but of man that wills, lest he should openly contradict the apostle, it follows that the true interpretation of the saying, It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy, is that the whole work belongs to God, who both makes the will of man righteous, and thus prepares it for assistance, and assists it when it is prepared.” (Augustine, The Enchiridion on Faith, Hope and Love, Chp. 32)

ROTFLOL
One of the first things I learned when dealing with criminal scum was that you could always tell who picked the fight by who had their fellow scumballs show up right away to help them.
What I learned a long time ago was that you’re all bark, but no bite.
They always go straight to the childish taunts.
"...is that the whole work belongs to God, who both makes the will of man righteous, and thus prepares it for assistance, and assists it when it is prepared"Amen.
Isaiah 46:4 "And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you"
“My my some people do have a little snit fit when someone hands them back exactly the same thing they’ve been dishing out to others for so long.”
You’re projecting, and you’re also delusional.
Kindergarten "no, you are" taunt with third grade words. Thank you for proving my point yet again.
still small voice/barking...take your pick.
