Believe it or not, this is not the first building collapse poor Margaret has experienced!

May I recommend that her next home be a Yurt?

Thank You! Miracles Do Happen!

This is unbelievably good news and I am not using “miracle” lightly.

They stitched up Margaret and she is talking now with eyes wide open.

I was trained in neuropsychology in graduate school and from what we were hearing thought 95% sure we had a skull fracture, concussion and possible subdural hematoma.

I am a little concerned that they did not seem to do a proper neurological exam and definitely did not do an x-ray or scan of any kind.

So maybe keep up the prayers a little longer as these things can go downhill after an initial improvement.

But we definitely want to be optimistic as I thought we might never again hear her speak.

My wife, Martha, is of course, jubilant at this point.

Martha and Margaret grew up together in a convent in Bombay, closer to downtown.

Anyone need proof prayers work?

Be sure and ping me if you or your family need prayers in the future.

Thank you again and God Bless!

They will need another place to live which we will try to help them with. Hopefully they can find a quiet place right away where Margaret can rest. Monsoon season there and can be hard to travel but not raining at the moment.

Another tenant in the building loaned them $60 to pay the hospital bill. We will send them that and more of course.

Pretty inexpensive ER, eh? I can picture that running $25,000 here but they’d have to throw in a CT scan or two.

They warned her she’d be in a lot of pain later when the local anesthetic wears off.

God please supply Your grace to the people in need and distress here. We know You let such things like this often happen as tests and demonstrations of how grace works against the works of the devil. It is the sign of a battle zone. Let this skirmish be victorious for You, O Lord and bust the devil’s teeth, and let it be a witness for You. May it be, amen.

Wow talk about prayers answered before making them :-)

Anyhow, here’s the secret to great prayer results. Ask for God’s exaltation in the situation. That is not just a high minded curlicue to plop atop a prayer where the benefit of the prayee is the chief end. It is the very core!

Sorry I missed this last night, but I’m praying now ... and what’s a little thing like a few time zones to God?

Since we’re on head injuries, Steve, can you send up a prayer for my son’s best friend, who was injured in a skateboarding accident last Thursday. He’s home now, with 32 staples in his head, but there’s always the chance of further complications.

Thank God for what He’s done for your sister in law!

Cy
