No - this applies to only one group of consecrated religious, the Franciscans of the Immaculate. It was not promulgated to the whole Church. But it may well be a timid first step...or toe in the water. I don't like this at all.

I don’t like it either. I think revising our mass/church to appeal to modern culture is/was a big error. I think these trends demean the sense of the spiritual. I am so disappointed and have been since Vatican II.
