It will be provable someday. So far only one religious head has died and risen from the grave. Mohammed? Stone cold dead. Brigham Young? Ditto. Abraham? Same. Buddha? Dead too. Jesus not only rose from the grave but predicted it before it happened. It lends more credence to his statements about the hereafter.

Many people have faith that that is exactly what happened. Religion (and Christianity in specific) is a very powerful meme.
