Unfortunately you cite a Bible verse referring to those who died before Christ.
Unfortunately for you, heaven and earth will pass away butt Jesus words will never pass away. Jesus came to fulfill the Law, not abolish it.
His word is forever settled in heaven.
OK, show us anywhere in the NT, then that that situation has changed.
So show me from scripture where those who passed from this life after Christ’s resurrection have an active role in what goes on here on earth. Surely you can do that if you claim something changed from Old Testament times. Book, chapter and verse please.
