And rejecting Nicaea is rejecting the Trinity. So it all fits together.
Of course, if you don’t believe Christ is God, then yeah, sure, you can be a ‘Christian’.

“Evidence of the Trinity was NOT ADDED hundreds of years earlier.”
We’ve got two people here arguing against the Trinity for the same reason you argue against the Communion of saints.
So - checkmate. Why should we accommodate their views any more than we do yours?
Again - where’s the evidence for your opinion that the Saints are dead and not in heaven?

“All we know is that there is zero evidence it came through Christ or the Apostles.”
Is there any evidence for your ‘cultic origin’? Apparently no evidence >>> evidence.
There is evidence for the communion of saints in terms of the fathers of the church as early as the third century. But unfortunately that doesn’t meet your wholly arbitrary origin just like the doctrine of the trinity doesn’t meet your wholly arbitrary opinion.

NO, it is not. Where did the council of Nicea get the evidence of the Trinity?

Yes, it is.
What do you think Nicaea was about anyways? It defined the trinity as we understand it today and affirmed the divinity of Christ and that you have God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy spirit, three persons in one godhead.
Rejecting Nicaea = rejecting the trinity.
There are non-trinitarians who claim to be christians. We call them ‘Mormons’ and ‘Jehovahs witnesses’.

Once again you didnt answer my question. Where the council of Nicea get the information to prove the existence of the Tinity?

Are you saying you can pick and choose what doctrine to follow? If so, why would someone be compelled to accept the Trinity and still be a Christian?

The dead in Christ are DEADin the normal, everyday sense of the word. And since they are dead in the normal, everyday sense of the word, we are prohibited from contacting them.

Are you saying that you can accept some of what the Council teaches but not all?

But RCs do not derive their doctrines from Scripture, but in condescension to evangelicals Scripture is appealed to by RCs trying to make her traditions look Scriptural, which here has further exposed their unScriptural nature. Bears repeating.

No, it's a bad thing when people keep repeating untruths even when they have been corrected MULTIPLE times. Luther's German translation of the Bible left out NONE of the books Catholics insist are Scripture. Do you need that link again?"No Replies"
Let me know if you get one and someone actually acknowledges that you are correct and they were wrong.

That certainly is evidence that praying to departed saints was added hundreds of years later. So was the trinity.
Apparently you are suggesting that the apostles and disciples knew nothing of the Trinity...

At least have the integrity to quote the entire sentence instead of cherry picking.
Here it is....
FWIW, I don't belong to a "church", I belong to Jesus.
And no, I do not belong to a denomination. What of it and why should I?
What possible difference could it make in my salvation?

You’ve said you reject Nicaea so that makes you a non-trinitarian. Just like the JWs and Mormons.
It’s not up to me to resolve that conflict between Christianity and the church of cynical bear.

That’s an evasive statement to the honest question, “of which church do you belong”. There’s always an affiliation. Some folks up front about it, others not so.
Why are you embarrassed?
