You can either deal with reality or reject it. My posts in this thread constitute a reality that many non-Catholics (and the majority of catholics) simply don’t want to face. Its “the hard word.” You can attack the messenger or look at the message and reform your life and belief accordingly. The Holy Spirit will help you if you ask.

I think the only "reality" you are espousing is the narrow and exclusive one you and some others are convinced is the ONLY and RIGHT way to think because your magesterium has deemed it so and who condemn any who do not fall in line with their latest proclamations. It is incontrovertible that what many of the ancients taught about things did not always fall in line with what Scripture teaches not what modern medical advances have discovered is true. The Roman Catholic Church is renown for dictating to its members about how to live every aspect of their lives and, no doubt, for many that provides a level of comfort and alleviates the need to think and reason for oneself. I choose to take my leading and message from God's Holy Scriptures and the indwelling Holy Spirit who leads us to all truths. I find when I obey Him, I am at peace with the decisions I have made.
