Temptation itself isn’t a consequence of original sin. Otherwise Adam and Eve wouldn’t have been tempted by the serpent, since they were created without original sin.

Although people tried to tempt God, God could not be tempted...Jesus on the other hand could be tempted but he did not succumb to sin...
